Orgullo de Espana

A project in which our design class was to create a lable and package for a fictitious olive oil company. We were also allowed to establish a false background for the company as well. After a few scores of thumbnail sketches, i decided i could do something like this, with mountain ranges. I choice the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain and traced it in illustrator, along with the box top (which was a complete bitch to cut). On the back, there is a write up of the company saying how they've been creating quality organic oils in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains..etc etc.

Unfortunately when i reformated my computer last week, the ONLY (and i do mean only) folder that didn't transfer was my Design folder. So i lost absolutely everything in my portfolio. Woo!!

Oh, i got an A+ on this
